Fawad CH Arrested by NAB after Transfer from Adiala Jail
NAB Chairman Signs Warrant for Fawad Chaudhry’s Arrest The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) apprehended former Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry from Adiala Jail.
Fawad Chaudhry, already in custody, was remanded to Adiala Jail on Friday by the Rawalpindi court.
The warrant for Fawad Chaudhry, leader of the Stability of Pakistan Party and former federal minister, was issued by the Chairman of NAB.
NAB has accused Fawad Chaudhry of involvement in corruption and corrupt practices, with a warrant issued under NAB Section 24A.
During the hearing of the NAB application concerning the execution of the warrant and investigation, Judicial Magistrate Yasar Mahmood in the Islamabad Local Court presided over the proceedings. NAB officials and an investigation officer were present during this occasion.
