Rupee Sustains Upward Momentum Against Dollar
The Pakistani Rupee continued its upward trend against the US Dollar, gaining 16 paisas in value in the interbank market on Tuesday morning.
At the opening of trade on Tuesday, the Dollar stood at Rs283.5 in the interbank market.
On the preceding day, the US Dollar registered its fifth consecutive decline, concluding the trade at Rs283.21 after a decrease of five paisas in the interbank market.
This signifies a consistent pattern of the US Dollar losing value against the Pakistani Rupee. Over the past week, the local currency appreciated by 61 paisas, settling at Rs283.26 against the US Dollar in the interbank market.
