International Disruption: X Server Experiences Global Outage, Including Pakistan

On Thursday, X, formerly recognized as Twitter, faced another bout of disruption in Pakistan, causing widespread issues on social media platforms across the country. Downdetector.com, a website tracking outages, reported global disruptions affecting both the standard social media platform X and its premium version, X Pro.

Users encountered various problems, including a blank timeline and error messages such as “cannot retrieve tweets” when attempting to view or post tweets.

This incident follows a similar disruption on December 17 when various social media platforms, including X, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, encountered widespread issues in Pakistan. Netblocks, an internet monitoring service, reported disruptions impacting these popular services.

User reports from major cities like Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad began surfacing around 8 pm, highlighting difficulties in accessing social media platforms. Additionally, users expressed concerns about sluggish internet services during the disruption.
