Nawaz Sharif Obtains Nomination Papers for NA-130

Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif has acquired nomination papers for the NA-130 constituency in Lahore, indicating his intention to contest the upcoming general elections scheduled for February 8.

Additionally, PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif plans to contest elections from the NA-123 constituency in Lahore for both the National Assembly and the provincial assembly seat. Maryam Nawaz Sharif is set to enter the race from NA-119 and is also expected to contest the election from a provincial constituency.

In another development, Hamza Shehbaz has received nomination papers for NA-118.

Captain Muhammad Safdar informed reporters on Wednesday that Nawaz Sharif would be the PML-N’s candidate for NA-15 (Mansehra-II). He also mentioned that Amir Muqam is the party’s choice for the position of Chief Minister in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), while Maryam Nawaz is the candidate for the Chief Minister’s office in Punjab. A formal announcement regarding these candidacies is anticipated later.
