Bilawal to Run for Election in Lahore
On Friday, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party, announced his intention to participate in the upcoming general elections from Lahore. Bilawal has acquired nomination papers for the NA-128 constituency in Lahore, and their submission is pending approval from the PPP’s parliamentary board.
PPP leaders have enthusiastically supported Bilawal Bhutto’s decision to run for the elections in Lahore, despite also obtaining nomination papers for the NA-194 constituency in Larkana. The party leaders gathered at Hafiz Ghulam Mohiuddin’s residence in Gulberg to celebrate Bilawal’s choice. The event was attended by prominent PPP figures, including Chaudhry Aslam Gill, Hafiz Ghulam Mohiuddin, Mian Misbah-ur-Rehman, Naveed Chaudhry, Manzoor Anjum, Amir Butt, Dr. Rafique, Aziz-ur-Rehman Chan, Adeel Mohiuddin, Naveed Chaudhry, Iqbal Khan, Hafiz Hamza, Saqib Butt, Malik Ashar, Muhammad Saeed, and others.
