Differences Arise Between PML-N & IPP Regarding Seat Adjustment

Differences have surfaced between the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) regarding seat adjustments, according to sources.

Sources within the PML-N suggest that accommodating their own numerous candidates would be challenging if an agreement is reached with IPP. They emphasized that the party has conveyed to IPP that no seat adjustments can occur in Lahore, a traditional stronghold for the PML-N.

Both IPP’s Abdul Aleem Khan and PML-N’s Maryam Nawaz are contesting the election from NA-119. Although Abdul Aleem Khan has sought a seat adjustment in the constituency, the PML-N is unwilling to concede, possibly offering Khan a provincial assembly seat.

PML-N sources also mentioned the possibility of seat adjustments with Jahangir Khan Tareen in Lodhran.
