PTI Takes Legal Action, Moves LHC Over ECP’s Failure to Issue Women’s Reserved List

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has taken legal action by challenging the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP)’s decision not to release the list of reserved seats for women in the Lahore High Court (LHC).

In the filed application, the PTI lawyer stated that the Peshawar High Court has suspended the ECP’s decision regarding the nullification of the intra-party election. The petition seeks an order for the ECP to release the list of reserved seats for women.

PTI’s lawyer, Abuzar Salman Khan Niazi, submitted the petition in the LHC and requested an expedited hearing, aiming for the application to be heard on the same day (Friday).
