COAS Asim Munir Participates in Christmas Celebrations with Christian Community

Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir Joins Christmas Celebrations at Christ Church, Rawalpindi

Inter-Services Public Relations reported that Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir participated in Christmas celebrations with the Christian community at Christ Church in Rawalpindi on Monday.

The statement from the army’s media wing mentioned that the congregation warmly welcomed the COAS and expressed gratitude for his presence during the festive occasion. General Munir extended his heartfelt wishes of Merry Christmas to the entire Christian community in Pakistan.

During the celebrations, COAS Munir conveyed his respect for the religious community and emphasized the importance of fostering increased interfaith harmony in society, aligning with the true vision of a united and progressive Pakistan as envisioned by Quaid-e-Azam.

“Islam teaches us the lesson of peace and friendship and encourages interfaith harmony, which is the need of the hour,” stated the COAS.
