Pakistan Contemplating Team Changes for the Second Test Against Australia

Possible Changes in Pakistan Cricket Squad for the Second Test Against Australia

Reports suggest that the Pakistan cricket squad may undergo changes for the upcoming second Test match against Australia. In the match scheduled to begin on Tuesday in Melbourne, there is a strong likelihood of wicketkeeper Sarfaraz Ahmed being replaced by Mohammad Rizwan.

As per discussions on the social media platform X, another change in the Pakistani lineup might involve Hasan Ali and Mir Hamza stepping in for the injured Khurram Shahzad. Additionally, there is a considerable chance of dropping Faheem Ashraf and including off-break bowler Sajid Khan.

Sources indicate that fast bowler Wasim Jr. is unlikely to participate in the Melbourne Test, and the opening partnership for Pakistan will likely be maintained by Imam-ul-Haq and Abdullah Shafiq.

It’s worth noting that the second Test of the three-match series between the two teams is set to take place in Melbourne from December 26. Pakistan faced defeat in the first test, and the third match is scheduled in Sydney from January 3.
