Pakistani Rupee maintains its upward momentum against USD
The depreciation trend of the US Dollar against the Pakistani Rupee persisted, with a further decrease of 17 paisas recorded in the interbank market on Wednesday.
At the commencement of trading on Wednesday morning, the formidable American currency started at Rs282.20, marking a decline of an additional 17 paisas in the interbank market.
Simultaneously, in the open market, the US Dollar experienced a loss of 20 paisas, reaching a trading value of Rs283.50.
This marks the tenth consecutive session in which the Pakistani Rupee has maintained its upward trajectory against the US Dollar, appreciating by 0.06% in the interbank market as observed on Tuesday.
As per SBP, Rupee settled at Rs282.37 after an increase of 16 paisas at the end of the day’s trading session.
