General Asim’s statement followed a verdict by Pakistan’s apex court, setting the date for February 8. During interactions with the Pakistani diaspora, a businessman raised a query about the impending polls.
Business figure Tanveer Ahmed quoted COAS, stating, ‘As far as I know, general elections will be held on the 8th of February.’
