PTI’s Marwat Released After Detention in Kot Lakhpat Jail
PTI Leader Sher Afzal Marwat Released from Kot Lakhpat Jail on Monday.
Addressing the media in Lahore, Marwat stated, “We are determined to participate vigorously in the upcoming general elections.”
The PTI official had alleged experiencing “misbehavior” during his time in jail.

Earlier reports indicated that the Lahore High Court (LHC) had instructed the release of PTI Leader Sher Afzal Marwat.
For his release, the court mandated the deputy commissioner to secure a surety bond. Justice Shahram Sarwar Chaudhry presided over the hearing, addressing an application challenging the detention orders of Sher Afzal Marwat.
All parties involved were requested to provide responses, with the petition contending that Marwat’s detention was unlawful.
