Accelerated Digitization: Pak Hajj App Launched for Streamlined Pilgrim Operations

In a groundbreaking achievement on Wednesday, authorities successfully digitized Hajj operations, unveiling the Pak Hajj application in record time. The Caretaker Minister of Information Technology, Umar Saif, and the Caretaker Minister of Religious Affairs, Aneeq Ahmed, jointly inaugurated the application, marking a pivotal moment in enhancing the efficiency of Hajj pilgrims.

During the launch event, Babar Majeed, the Chief Executive Officer of NITB, provided comprehensive insights into the functionality and capabilities of the Pak Hajj application. He expressed optimism about the app’s positive impact on the efficiency and transparency of Hajj operations.

Umar Saif underscored the accelerated digitization process directed by the Special Investment Facilitation Council, expressing satisfaction at achieving this milestone with the launch of the Pak Hajj application.

The Pak Hajj application boasts various features, including pilgrim registration, payment processes for rituals, and comprehensive information spanning from departure to the return to the home country.

The minister highlighted the app’s utility in providing crucial details such as Hajj group information, training schedules, and residence matters in Saudi Arabia. This initiative marks a significant step toward a more streamlined and transparent experience for Hajj pilgrims.
