US Dollar Rate Experiences Decrease Against PKR

The trend of the Pakistani rupee against the US dollar remained consistent in the interbank foreign exchange currency market on Tuesday.

There was a 42 paise drop in the interbank value of the US dollar, bringing the new rate to Rs282.10 against the rupee.

Internationally, on Tuesday, the dollar sought stability in thin holiday trade. It faced pressure due to indications of cooling inflation in the world’s largest economy, suggesting that the Federal Reserve might have room to ease interest rates in the upcoming year.
